To be concise and not fend you of before we start , with rhetorical questions and introspective musings. I would like to introduce this little piece of work that I hope will follow with a short mission statement of sorts. An epilogue if you would like. The epilogue is usually a writer ‘s final say or comment at the end of her book or play to give the reader some peace as to what has just played out on the pages in front of him. For me this blog with will be the epilogue to my life experience thus far, thankfully not in the way that you are assuming it to be.
Thus I start… In a world consumed with the ideal of being perfect, having success and getting what you want in whatever sense you take upon yourself. There is often little place for the things that often teaches us the most. Mistakes, hardships, sadness, imperfections, people, creatures ,fantasies and the beautiful simplicity that we are so often surrounded by, but fail to see it. It is due to our lack of seeing that I hope to fill your day with a little bit of the ordinary, the unassuming and ever striking missing bits. The things I love. The things that make me smile. How often is a smile , all we need? A smile shared with friends , your person or an unfamiliar stranger.
To blog is to regularly update a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. according to the smart people at the Oxford dictionary. Thus who am I to differ , with does Brits?I do confess I know not what I do, but I do what I like and how I like it. A passionate soul is what I hope to cultivate until my dying breath and all the things in between which my hands, eyes and feet will touch will bring me closer to that.
So here goes. Cheers!
